Good Morning! So far the Big Storm has been a Big Bust. Lots oif wind and
\n existing snow has all been blown somewhere else. I took the Trailways Bus
\n to downtown Salt Lake yesterday afternoon. It left at 3:30 pm and was
\n scheduled to arrive at the west gate of Temple Square at 6:45. The weather
\n over Malad Pass was windy with drifting snow. That changed to rain the
\n closer we got to the Salt Lake Valley. We were about 45 minutes late,
\n primarily due to traffic making its way around a small accident.<\/p>\n
I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in downtown SLC last night and took the 6:30
\n am shuttle to the airport. I like this hotel and its location. It was windy
\n this morning with temperatures iin the low 40’s, meaning we won’t have to
\n de-ice before flying away.<\/p>\n
I’m always surprised (but by now shouldn’t be) at how busy the SLC airport
\n is on weekends. Despite that, because I have Medallion Status, I was able
\n to move around the lines. So here I am, sitting on the airplane in my
\n (upgraded) 1st class seat waiting for everyone to board so we can button
\n up, light the fires, and make like a tree (and leave…).<\/p>\n
