I lost 0.8 pounds, but gained 3.3% body fat. I pretty much understand the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/health\/2004-12-06-sleep-weight-gain_x.htm\" target=\"_Blank\">weight gain or loss<\/a>, but the body fat measurement is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mailtribune.com\/archive\/2004\/1228\/life\/stories\/02life.htm\" target=\"_Blank\">bit less reliable<\/a> in my opinion. The scale measures body fat by putting an <a href=\"http:\/\/kropla.com\/electric2.htm\" target=\"_Blank\">electrical<\/a> current through from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.topics-mag.com\/edition11\/games-hopscotch.htm\" target=\"_Blank\">one leg<\/a> to the other. It seems that there are too many variables in this process for it to be a consistently reliable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pyramidofman.com\/Measures.htm\" target=\"_Blank\">measurement<\/a>. So, the year-to-date results are weight down 0.8 pounds, body fat up a total of 3.3%.<\/p>\n<p>Because of travel schedules, I won&#8217;t be able to do another weigh-in for three weeks.
